For Muslim travelers seeking a halal-friendly beach resort in Turkey, Bera Alanya is a great option. This 5-star Islamic hotel, located along the coastline of Alanya, offers an all-inclusive experience in a peaceful, alcohol-free environment. We booked our stay through HalalBooking.com and visited in the summer of 2024. Here’s our honest review of the resort.

Location & First Impressions
Bera Alanya is about a two-hour drive from Antalya Airport. The transfer was easy, and though it’s a bit far from the city center, it provides a peaceful escape from the busy crowds. The staff greeted us warmly, even during our late-night check-in. The hotel features a modern design with Islamic touches, offering a calm and relaxing vibe.
Rooms & Comfort
Our family suite was spacious and clean, providing a comfortable stay. The sea-view balcony was a highlight, offering beautiful partial views of the Mediterranean. While some furnishings showed minor signs of wear, the beds were big and comfortable, and the housekeeping staff ensured the room remained tidy throughout our stay.
Halal Dining Experience
One of the biggest highlights of Bera Alanya is its completely halal dining experience. The all-inclusive buffet featured a variety of international and Turkish dishes. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh pastries, cheeses, and traditional Turkish items like menemen and simit. Lunch and dinner provided a good selection, though some dishes were repeated. The dessert section was our favourite but then our family has always had a sweet tooth!

The dining area could get busy during peak times, but with a bit of patience, we always managed to find a table. Unlike many resorts, there was no alcohol served anywhere on the premises, making it a completely family-friendly environment and one fo the main reasons we chose Bera Alanya as our hotel.
Private Beach & Pools
A key feature of Bera Alanya is its separate facilities for men and women. The hotel offers:
- A private beach area with a designated ladies-only section
- Separate pools for men and women
- A family-friendly pool area
- A children’s water play area
- Ladies-only spa & wellness center
The pools were well-maintained and provided a relaxing experience, though getting a sunbed during peak hours required some patience. We always did find beds however busy it was in the mixed family pool.

Activities & Entertainment
Bera Alanya offers a family-friendly and modest environment with a variety of activities, including:
- Water sports & beach games
- Kids’ club with engaging activities
- Evening entertainment with live performances
- A gym and sports courts
The prayer facilities and Qur’an in each room were thoughtful touches, adding to the Islamic-friendly environment. While some activities required advance booking, there was still plenty to enjoy during our stay.It was great to have it all inclusive.
Service & Hospitality
The staff at Bera Alanya were generally polite and helpful. During peak times, service could be a little slow, but overall, the hospitality was good. The housekeeping and dining staff worked hard to accommodate guests, and any minor issues were resolved efficiently. We required medical help during our stay and the staff were super helpful, especially the concierge team and on-site nurse who arranged all care swiftly.
Final Verdict
Our experience at Bera Alanya was overall positive. It provides a halal-friendly and family-oriented environment with good facilities and beautiful surroundings. While there were occasional challenges with service speed and peak-time crowds, the privacy-focused amenities, quality halal dining, and relaxing atmosphere made it a worthwhile stay.
